Blue Coat youth speaks!

Our public speakers triumphed at the Rotary Youth Speaks competition in Henley on 22nd January, winning both the Intermediate and Senior categories. The Intermediate team consisted of main speaker William, who spoke about the problem of hunger and avoidable food waste; chairman Samuel; and George, who offered the vote of thanks. In the Senior team, Ben was awarded Best Speaker for his speech about challenging our perceptions of homelessness; Matthew was awarded Best Chairman of the evening; and Chris delivered the vote of thanks. Well done, boys!
