Ricky HodgesBottom. Row, 2nd in on right, Max someone? Was a boarder. I owe a few of these guys dead arms / dead legs. Although I was a cheeky little oik to most of these lads.

Old Blues’ Association

Welcome to ROBA!

The Reading Old Blues’ Association (ROBA) was formed in 1904 and helps Old Blues keep in touch with the School and with their fellow alumni.

In addition to receiving the annual Old Blues News, alumni take part in a variety of social and sporting events, including the Annual Dinner, the Daniels Cup cricket match and Reunion Tea, and other Daniels Cup sporting events against the school.

If you would like to register as an Old Blue in order to receive the Old Blues News and invitations to Old Blue events, please contact Blue Coat’s Alumni Administrator Marjie Thorne at mlt@rbcs.org.uk or (0118) 933 5828.

Use of Sports Facilities

The School has agreed to allow Old Blues to use some of the sports facilities outside school hours. Please read the attached document for details on what, how and when.

Old Blues News

The annual alumni newsletter is posted to all registered Old Blues in January/February each year. If you have any news you would like to be included in the publication, contact the OBN Editor David Woodward at d.woodward@reading.ac.uk or contact Marjie Thorne (details above).

You can also keep up to date with alumni news on the Old Blues’ Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/ReadingOldBlues
