Gaby Plowman teaches History at Blue Coat, and qualified at Reading University with her PGCE in her taught subject. Her first job was working in a mixed comprehensive school in Henley before heading to teach in a more unusual climate at the Prague British School. She joined Blue Coat in 2015.
Gaby has been involved in a number of school trips with the History department, as well as residential trips. She is involved in the Middle Years Public Speaking club and will be accompanying the Senior Speakers to Vancouver this year. Gaby is also a member of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Bronze Award navigation weekend and has taken over the running of the Amnesty Internationalgroup.
Away from school, Gaby enjoys travelling and exploring foreign cities, and their history and cultures. She also enjoys hiking around the countryside and, when the weather permits, cycling.
