Professor Louise Hague, Co-opted Governor

Overview

Louise is the parent of an Old Blue. Currently, she is a Teaching & Learning Dean (Associate Professor in Law) at University of Reading, and her teaching interests include Constitutional and Administrative Law and the History of English Law. Louise provides leadership for the University’s Teaching & learning community and key elements include ensuring the enhancement of teaching excellence and thus improving student experiences and developing strategic priorities.  Louise’s current research interest is the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council and its role as the final appellate court for ecclesiastical causes in the 19th century. Louise is responsible for extra-curricular and Pro Bono projects in the School of Law, which involve law students working with local schools to increase legal awareness in the local community and aspirations for higher education.
